Installation, 2010, Typological variation, parametric control: lengths and angles, gradient generation. Coordination of construction systems.

Traveling installation, was presented for the first time at the Beijing Biennale 2010 (Machinic Process). It was born from distance collaboration from Valencia, London and Beijing. The ceramics were produced in Spain by SALONI and ALCALATÉN, and the substructure in Beijing.

The installation was designed to offer a bit of calm and tranquility through the simulation of the movement of a rice field by the wind, in response to the proliferation and massification of biennials and fairs today, which saturate the visitor with information.
To generate this effect, a digital simulation was created by means of parametric software that was materialized with ceramics, allowing to coordinate and relate constructive systems (pavement and self-supporting slats).
